High Grass Hideout Studios
Jeri Hernandez
Proudly hailing from the vibrant Raleigh, North Carolina area, I've always been inspired by the cultural richness and diversity of this region.
Diverse Experience: My journey in the world of entertainment has been as diverse as my hometown. I co-owned and worked as a photographer at Side Yard Studios, capturing the essence of creativity through the lens. My educational pursuits reflect my multifaceted interests, including an Associate's degree in Radiologic Science, graphic design studies at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and a deep dive into Industrial Psychology at Penn State.
Day Job: By day, I'm a Radiologic Technologist and clinical coordinator for an urgent care facility, where I combine my medical expertise with a passion for patient care.
High Grass Hideout Studios: What I find most rewarding about working with High Grass Hideout Studios is the opportunity to collaborate with a remarkable group of individuals—fun-loving, intelligent, and adventurous friends, both old and new. Together, we create captivating stories that challenge norms and inspire change.
Words of Wisdom: To those embarking on their journey in producing, writing, acting, or working on a film set, I offer this advice: Be yourself. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who share your passion. Persistence is key, as not every day will be a walk in the park. Stay focused on your goals and desires, and remember that the reward lies in accomplishing something great, even if it's only great to you. Believe in your work and love it, for the right people will love it too.
Hidden Passion: Beyond the world of film and radiology, I have a metal studio where I engage in Assemblage Art. My studio, aptly named "Metal Menagerie" or "M²," is where I channel my creativity into unique and intriguing creations. Oh, and one more thing – I absolutely adore Felix the Cat!
